The fashionista of Bollywood, Sonam Kapoor just celebrated her 36th birthday with all the love from her friends, family and fans alike. The Khoobsurat actress had one of the most extravagant weddings in the film industry and it was all the rage back in 2018. Sonam married her long time boyfriend Anand Ahuja in a lavish ceremony in Mumbai. The couple recently completed three years of blissful marriage. Sonam Kapoor aka Sonam K Ahuja had several wedding functions at The Leela in Mumbai. Many renowned people were a part of her wedding functions. Pictures and videos from Sonam’s wedding had gone viral. Being the fashionista that she is, it was no wonder that her wedding looks would become the talk of the town. And that’s exactly what happened. Right from the beige Lehenga that she wore for her after Mehendi bash, to the red bridal Lehenga that she wore for her Anand Karaj ceremony to the brown and grey fusion lehenga choli she wore for her grand reception. Each of her outfits became the talk of the town.

Sonam’s bridal lehenga by ace designer Anuradha Vakil was perfect for the traditional Punjabi wedding that she had. The heavy lehenga was priced at around Rs. 90 Lakhs whereas the mangalsutra that Anand put around her neck was priced at a whopping Rs. 55 Lakhs. Designed by Sonam, the Mangalsutra was embedded with her and Anand’s zodiac sign made out of solitaire diamonds. In fact, her engagement ring was also priced at an unbelievable Rs. 1cr.

Sonam Kapoor got hitched to her boyfriend Anand Ahuja in a wedding ceremony fit for royals on May 8, 2021. This incredible wedding bash was attended by all the crème de la crème of the industry. Kareena Kapoor Khan attended the wedding with her husband Saif Ali Khan, son Taimur Ali Khan and sister Karisma Kapoor. Apart from them, celebrities like Amitabh Bachchan, Ranveer Singh, Rani Mukerji, Arjun Kapoor, Jacqueline Fernandez, Karan Johar, Katrina Kaif and others also graced the event.
