Exclusive BTS: Sandipta Sen, Madhumita Sarcar and others join the Noboborsho celebration on Didi No. 1 with Rachna Banerjee

Noboborsho is right around the corner and Didi No 1’s sets recently witnessed a grand celebration! In the Baisakhi Bumper episode, many celebrity guests made an appearance on the show and battled against each other to win exciting hampers and gifts. From host Rachna Banerjee’s glamourous entry to beautiful performances, the stage of Didi No. 1 was filled with fun and memorable moments which marked the starting of a happy and prosperous year. The gang certainly had a gala time, the BTS photos are proof!

For one of the special episodes of Noboborsho, the celebrity guests for the evening were Sandipta Sen, Solanki Roy, and others, who came to the show along with their mothers. Like always, the show was filled with fun games and moments. For the first round, we saw the participants play a fun game of musical chairs, in which Solanki and Sandipta reached the final stage but ultimately Sandipta won the round. She won an LED TV as her prize.

In the second round, actor Biswanath Basu made an appearance and the ladies were tied to him by a long rope. It was a fun twist to the classic game of Tug of War. The ladies had to pull Biswanath along with them to reach different fruits and vegetables in order to obtain them. The ladies were in for a treat when they and their mothers were requested to choose any saree from an in-built stall of a reputed saree brand. As a special surprise for the audience, singer Aneek and others also put up a musical performance on the stage of Didi No 1.  Sandipta and her mother became the winners of the episode.

For another episode, Madhumita Sarcar, Subhashree Ganguly, and other actresses graced the stage of Didi No. 1 with their presence. In one of the rounds, the ladies had to collect Christmas balls from Biswanath’s cloak while he tried to escape from them. For this episode, Subhashree Ganguly won the title of Didi No. 1 and was presented with many gifts and a memento.
