Happy Raksha Bandhan 2020: Here’s Why We Need A Brother Like Semabaruthi’s Arun

On the small screen, we have seen some spectacular bonding between siblings. Several TV shows such as Sembaruthi, Sathya, Yaaradi Nee Mohini, among others, have shown us great sibling-love. And one of my favourite siblings are Arun and Adithya and I really wish for a brother like Arun. From hiding secrets to taking a stand and more, Arun is just the brother one needs in life.

Now that Raksha Bandhan, one of our all-time favourite festivals, is just around the corner! Let’s take a look at Arun and Adithya’s bonding. Check out these qualities of an ideal brother and if your sibling is anything like Arun, then consider yourself as lucky.

Chemistry

Not just couples have chemistry, but siblings too share a beautiful bro-mantic relationship. Arun and Adithya, who are on-screen brothers in Zee Tamil’s much popular show Sembaruthi, too managed to catch their audiences’ attention with their spectacular chemistry. Have you ever noticed that the two share one of the single most powerful forms of communication i.e. Non-verbal communication? They don’t really have to say something to each other; they telepathically communicate. Do you have someone who you share that kind of bond with?

Keeping secrets

Arun and Adi don’t really need best friends as they have each other. And one such instance proves that they will go at great lengths to protect each other. When Adi got secretly married to Parvathy, Arun kept it as a secret from his mother Akhilandeshwari. Though he knew about the consequences, yet he decided to stand by his brother and his decision to marry the love of his life. Not only he hid this secret from his mom but also made sure that Vanaja or Nandini too never find this truth.

No jealousy

We have seen that Akhilandeshwari has always been partial towards Adithya. She loved Adi more than anyone else in the house. Also, she always prioritised things that are related to Adi over everything else. But this never made Arun jealous or think less of his mother. He always loved, obeyed and respected his mother. Not once he has brought this up and made it an issue. Arun has never gone against his mother unless it was for Adi’s benefit. Arun and Adi’s chemistry surely makes us go green with envy.
