Arunoday Singh, the very talented actor, who has garnered a lot of love, celebrates his 38th birthday today. He began his journey in Bollywood in 2009, with the film Sikandar, and soon made his place prominent in the Hindi film industry. Arunoday Singh, after graduating, learned some film courses in the world-renowned New York Film Academy. Following that, he began his career there as a theatre artist, also excelling in musical theatre. He later came to India and began his journey in Bollywood. His first movie was the 2009 film Sikandar, where he played a supporting role.

Right after his first film, he starred in the 2010 flick Aisha, which was his shot to fame. He played the role of Dhruv Singh, whom Aisha (Sonam Kapoor) briefly gets attracted to in the film. His role as Dhruv was very well-received by the audience and everyone recognized his prowess in acting.

He later also appeared in the 2011 film Yeh Saali Zindagi, for which he earned his first nomination as the Best Actor in a Supporting Role. He also starred in the 2012 film Jism 2, with Sunny Leone and Randeep Hooda, which had then become his most noteworthy performance. Arunoday Singh’s next most noted performance was as Angad Negi in the film Main Tera Hero. He starred as the love rival of the protagonist, Seenu, played by Varun Dhawan. His performance in this romcom was also very well-received by the audience.

After Main Tera Hero’s success, Arunoday Singh bagged his first lead role in the political-thriller film, Buddha In A Traffic Jam. Directed by Vivek Agnihotri, the film also starred Anupam Kher and Mahie Gill. Arunoday Singh received a lot of acclaim for his first leading role.

In 2018, Arunoday Singh made his OTT debut. He then appeared in the crime drama series The Chargesheet: Innocent or Guilty, in 2019. Arunoday Singh in The Chargesheet: Innocent or Guilty, played the role of a powerful politician, Ranveer Pratap Singh, who is accused as the prime accused of a sportsperson’s murder. He received a lot of praise for his strong screen presence in the show.

Arunoday Singh very recently starred in the OTT film, Lahore Confidential, opposite Richa Chadha. The romantic spy thriller film also starred Karishma Tanna as a RAW agent. Arunoday Singh’s character was that of a shayar in Pakistan, who hides a lot of secrets. His performance, along with Richa Chadha and Karishma Tanna’s, was very much loved by the audience.

Besides being a brilliant actor, and a theatre artist, Arunoday Singh is also a very talented writer and poet. He posts his musings and poems on his Instagram account, and his followers and fans love those. In an interview, Arunoday Singh had also shared that once a fan of his had told him that one of his poems got him through a very dark time. Arunoday Singh had said that that comment felt like the sweetest thing, that his poem actually uplifted someone.
