OTT medium is slowly gaining momentum in India and many talented faces who otherwise fail to gain recognition in Bollywood are getting highlighted through these platforms instead. We got in touch with some of the new faces from this show and they were all praises for the boom of OTT in India. While Ria believes, “It’s the best thing that has happened to content in the last few years”, Saloni says, ” It has specifically helped actors as I see a lot of my friends who are good actors, working and being busy with projects.”
Dayena Erappa, who’s also a model by profession thinks OTT is the best option currently keeping in mind the pandemic. “I think in this pandemic it (OTT) is much safer than going to a theatre. Web shows make it so easy that you just binge-watch. Wherever you are, travelling or not doing anything, you can just watch things. And it reaches everyone all over the country,” she said.
Radha Bhatt, who plays Mrs Ahuja differentiated OTT from other platforms by highlighting how the medium is sans any restriction. “OTT is like an ocean of content. There is no timeline, there is nothing restricting. I think it’s an asset,” she said.
We cannot wait to see these stunning ladies on our screens. Can you?
