Jitendra Kumar AKA ‘Jitu Bhaiya’ & Arushi Sharma To Star In A Sports-Based Film

Although in the year 2020, we all were locked indoors, the supply of entertainment was on track with OTT releases. Apart from watching the content-driven films from the comfort of our home, a handful of debutants, who were launched in 2020, also managed to win our hearts. And, if we make a list of best 2020 debutants, it will be unfair if we miss out Jitendra Kumar and Arushi Sharma’s name. Jitendra and Arushi marked their debut with Shubh Mangal Zyada Saavdhan and Love Aaj Kal, respectively. And, now, it seems like that someone has figured out that it will be an absolute treat for moviegoers, who would like these powerhouses of talents sharing the screen space. Yes! you read it right. Interestingly, Jitendra Kumar, aka Jitu Bhaiya, has been roped in for a sports drama on Netflix. As per the reports floating online, the film has been titled Jadoogar, which will showcase the actor playing the role of a football player. On the other hand, Arushi Sharma will essay the female lead character. Apart from the lead, the upcoming film will also feature Javed Jaffrey who is said to be playing a sports coach. With this film, Jitu will reunite with his Kota Factory makers, The Viral Fever (popularly known as TVF). Kota Factory was released in 2019. Directed by Raghav Subbu, it aired on the TVFPlay app and the Youtube Channel of TVF as well. The series is also said to be the first black and white web series to premiere in India.

Coming back to their upcoming project, neither the actors nor the makers have made any official announcement to confirm this. But, if it’s true, then the audience, who like watching content-driven films, might get their next pick. For the unversed, Love Aaj Kal was released with a mixed review from the critics and the audience alike. But, almost in all critic reviews, Arushi garnered praises. Meanwhile, talking about Jitendra, he needs no introduction as he is a popular face in the digital world already.
