Kamal Haasan Hospitalised: Doting Daughter Shruti Haasan Dashes Off To Chennai To Be By Father’s Side – EXCLUSIVE

Actor-Politician Kamal Haasan was recently hit by the Covid 19 virus. This news became public instantly and , his legions of fans have been praying day in and day out for his speedy recovery.

Now the latest update is that to everyone’s relief, the superstar is said to be stable condition and is recovering well. His daughter Shruti Haasan has flown to Chennai leaving things behind to be by her dad’s side at the Sri Ramachandra Medical Centre.

Though Kamal Haasan continues to be in quarantine, Shruti wanted to be by her dad’s side. She was shooting till now and decided to flew as soon as her work commitments were over. The actress flew to Chennai recently and plans to stay there for the next few days. While, Kamal Haasan is recovering well and continues to be stable.

Shruti Haasan recently opened up about her relationship publicly and spoke about it. She’s currently dating Santanu Hazarika and the duo has alot in common.

Shruti revealed Santanu had done a piece of art for one of their common friends but they never really met each other properly. She said, she thinka we did (crossed paths) a couple of times and we completely just walked past each other.

Shruti revealed she and Shantanu started chatting online and had a lot of common interests like their love for art, Swedish metal band Meshuggah and graphic novels. Everything basically that she loves.

When Mandira enquired if she wanted to hide the relationship with Shantanu, Shruti said she hid a lot in the past. She has been very particular. She has been like, ‘Oh my God, she is totally single’ for the longest time. Because people were like ‘you have to appear that way, you have to appear desirable, available’. And one day she was like, ‘For whom? For what?’ she also felt like it was disrespectful to her partner– to hide it. It may or may not work out, they don’t know but she thinks its important to respect your environment and the people in it.

Professionally, Shruti is gearing up for the release of Salaar opposite Prabhas and a web series in digital space which she is headlining.
