Kamali Weekly Update 01 June-10 June 2020: Kamali’s Engagement Gets Fixed With Rishi

In last week’s episode of Kamali,  Rishi and Kamali realise that Chandru and Raghu are not in the house and go in search of them. When they reach the outhouse, they notice that the room has been filled with smoke. On trying to open the door of the outhouse, they see that Chandru and Raghu have fainted from all the smoke in the house and take them back home.

This week, Kamali gets ready as Rishi and his family are coming to fix his marriage with her. Ningi gets emotional when she sees Kamali and tells her that she looks absolutely beautiful and that Rishi will faint when he sees her.

Just then, Rishi comes to the room and meets Kamali. She cannot believe that he has already arrived and wonders if she is just imagining him. Rishi also tells her that he has come for real and was excited to see her.

Later that evening, Rishi’s marriage gets fixed to Kamali. However, Ajji says that they will have to postpone the wedding as there are a lot of arrangements that need to be made. Rishi hears this and gets disappointed.

Anika, on the other hand, tells Gowri that after looking at all the arrangements, she is also ready to get married. She tells Gowri to find a suitable boy for her. However, Anika has a plan in mind so that she can eventually get married to Rishi.

The next day, Kamali has a conversation with Chandru wherein she tells him that she doesn’t want a very fancy and expensive engagement. She also asks him to talk to Ajji as it will be disrespectful if she initiates that conversation. Chandru agrees to the same.

Elsewhere, Rishi and his father are having a conversation wherein Rishi also tells his father that they must have a small and simple celebration instead of something grand. Rishi’s father tells him that they will celebrate it the way Rishi and Kamali wants.

Tara overhears this conversation and is angry about the same. She wonders what step she can take in order to stop the engagement. She then pretends to faint and be sick after which they decide to cancel the engagement that was supposed to take place in a few days. Rishi calls Kamali and tells her about the same.
