The ongoing pandemic has certainly affected many film projects. While the shoot of several movies/shows has been shelved, the actors are struggling with their work commitments. And quite similarly, veteran star Manoj Bajpayee has reportedly opted out of the Indian remake of ‘The Night Manager’ due to date issues. The actor was roped in to play the character of Richard Hooper for this series. However, unable to match dates with the rest of the cast, he has decided to quit the project.
Manoj was in talks with the makers of the show however, was not able to commit to the project considering his busy schedule. Due to the second wave of Covid-19, many of his projects have already been delayed. The Family Man actor was set to feature as the main antagonist of the show but due to his exit, the makers are now hunting for his replacement. Manoj is currently shooting for a film in Uttarakhand, after which he has to get back to his pending projects.

“Manoj sir was in advanced talks for the series. But due to the second wave of the pandemic, two of his productions have been delayed. The actor is currently shooting for a film in Uttarakhand, post which he will turn his attention to the pending projects,” a source close to the development stated.
The actor has been quite busy with his work commitments and promotions. His most-awaited web series The Family Man Season 2 has been released on Amazon Prime and is receiving rave reviews from the fans.
Meanwhile coming back to the remake of The Night Manager, actor Hrithik Roshan will be seen playing the lead role. And this Disney+ Hotstar show will mark his digital debut. For those unversed, The Night Manager is a British TV series that premiered on BBC in 2016. The show opened up to great reviews from critics as well as the fans. The news of its Indian adaptation has certainly raised a wave of excitement among the fans.
