Mohanlal’s Monster gets an update from Lakshmi Manchu

Lakshmi Manchu just stated that she will star in Mohanlal’s forthcoming film Monster, directed by Vysakh. With the film, the actress makes her Mollywood debut  as the female lead. The first schedule of the film, which was released on November 10, was completed just a day ago.

“This one seems different,” Lakshmi Manchu tweeted as she shared a photo from the venue. It’s the end of one of my favourite and most important series of my career. That hasn’t happened in the last month of learning and fun. A new language, a new skill, and a chance to work with one of Hollywood’s most prominent actors. Ah! What a month it’s been.

Mohanlal, director Vysakh, and scriptwriter Udhayakrishna, the superhit ‘Pulimurugan’ combo, are teaming up for ‘Monster.’ In the action comedy, Mohanlal plays a guy named Lucky Singh. The movie’s first look poster was recently released, and it caused quite a stir online. Monster, directed by Deepak Dev and produced by Anthony Perumbavoor under the brand of Aashirvad Cinemas, features cinematographer Satheesh Kurup and music director Deepak Dev.
