Mother’s Day 2021: Cherishing Shyama and Radhika’s sudden motherly transformations that were surprisingly delightful

Motherhood is a one-of-a-kind experience in a woman’s life, and probably the most blissful one. While we watched Radhika (Swastika Dutta) and Shyama (Tiyasha Roy) be the incredibly intelligent, graceful, and remarkable women they always were, the two embracing motherhood was an iconic turning point to witness. Both Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay and Krishnakoli went through five-year and 18-year long leaps, respectively. Following this, we witnessed the beautiful sights of Radhika’s doting motherhood with Abhi and Shyama’s for her daughter Krishna.

Ki Kore Bolbo Tomay’s 5-year leap

Radhika had left the Sen household, following a disastrous fallout with her husband Karna. The show’s story went through a five-year-long leap soon after and resumed with Radhika residing in Darjeeling, with an adorable little boy named Abhi. While we do not know whose child Abhi originally was, Radhika appeared to have taken over all the parental responsibilities of the young kid. Additionally, it was absolutely heartwarming to witness the adorable bond that she shared with him.

Radhika’s return with little Abhi

Abhi and Radhika seemed inseparable from day one. While we already knew how Radhika was an all-rounder, watching her be Abhi’s mother was simply the cherry on top of the cake! The cutest part about Radhika and Abhi’s relationship was how the latter called her ‘angel’ instead of any other name people usually address their mothers with. Radhika’s unmeasurable love for the little one, immense care for his health, making up for any lost time, and buttering him to get rid of his attitude were all undeniably sweet to watch.

Krishnakoli’s 18-year-long leap

Krishnakoli too, went through a leap, in fact, a much larger one of 18 years! The story of the show resumed with Shyama living in Benares with her 18-year-old young-adult daughter Krishna. While Shyama suffered from intense memory loss, following her accident 18 years back, Krishna stood by her through thick and thin. It was absolutely soul-stirring to watch Shyama have someone by her side, protecting and taking care of her endlessly, without fail.

Shyama returns with a young adult Krishna

The mother and daughter were each other’s primary companions in life. It would be an understatement to say that Krishna’s hard work, affection, concerns, and care for her beloved mother, Shyama, were a pure delight to watch on the screen. Shyama had welcomed into the world, a human being who was just as compassionate, adaptive, understanding, and most importantly, as melodious as herself! And Shyama was no less of a super-supportive and proud mother of a talented and extremely kind young Krishna, who had inherited Shyama’s musical skills brilliantly.
