1. Naal

Directed by Sudhakar Reddy Yakkanti, Naal is the story of a mischievous boy named Chaitanya who lives with his family in a quaint little village. He’s the favourite kid of his parents and is pampered a lot at home. All’s going well, until he discovers a strange truth about himself which makes develop a sense of detachment from his family. This critically acclaimed film starring Nagraj  Manjule and Devika Daftardar is a surely a must-watch because of its compelling story.

Lekroo is a film featuring Sachin Khedekar and Mrinal Kulkarni that revolves around the story of a boy who gets separated from his parents one day. 3. Maza Chakula

This film starring Adinath Kothare, Nivedita Saraf, Laxmikant Berde, and Mahesh Kothare has a similar story as that of Lekroo as we see a young kid named Adi getting lost in the crowded city of Mumbai. Only this time, the boy falls into wrong hands and encounters a bunch of goons who keep him away from his parents. Will Adi be able to reunite with them? Find out by watching the film now.

4. Strawberry Shake

Strawberry Shake is a ZEE5 Original that presents a refreshing take on parenthood. The film directed by Shoneel Yallattikar explores the relationship between a father and a daughter beautifully. We are sure that you’ll call in a group hug with your parents after watching this film featuring Sumeet Raghvan and Hruta Durgule.

5. Kachha Limbu

Kachha Limbu is a family drama surrounding the life of a mentally challenged kid and his parents. The film goes through an interesting twist when the boy starts developing sexual desires. The film boasts of a stellar star cast including names like Ravi Jadhav, Sachin Khedekar, Sonali Kulkarni, and Manmeet Pem.

6. Killa

Killa is a coming-of-age film directed by Avinash Arun who impressed us with amazing cinematography. The film starring Parth Bhalerao, Archit Deodhar, and Amruta Subhash revolves around the life of a kid named Chinmay. 7. Ventilator

Ventilator is a comedy-drama that revolves around a family who are in grief as one of the senior-most member of their house has been hospitalised. They are worried that their festive plans will go down the drain if the ailing person dies after being put on the ventilator. The film is an emotional joyride that features an ensemble of actors like Ashutosh Gowariker, Jitendra Joshi, Sukanya Kulkarni, Satish Alekar, and many others.

8. Taani

Taani is the motivational journey of a girl who aspires to become an IAS officer despite belonging to a backward class of the society. Taani works hard to make ends meet and complete her education. Her parents also support her while fulfilling her dreams and making numerous sacrifices in the process. This film starring Ketaki Mategaonkar surely needs to be watched along with your parents!
