Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 17: Govardhan Thaatha Sings Love Me Or Hate Me From Shankar Guru!

Last week in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 17, Asha Bhat sang the song Yello Jinugiruva from Just Maath Maathalli sung by the very talented Shreya Goshal and we must say our very own Asha did full justice to the song. Ratnamma and Manjamma sang us Preethi Namma Thavarina Siri from the movie Thavarina Siri that was originally sung by Madhu Balakrishnan, Chitra and Nanditha Mangala and their coordination was no less than perfect!

Anushree is back to welcome all the contestants and the judges on the special Independence Day episode!

The judges looked stunning as ever as they dressed up in traditional outfits and spoke very highly of our country!

The first grand entrance performance was of the song Hello hello hello from the movie Bachchan sung by Kiran Patil.

Ashwin Sharma then went on to give the most banging performance as he sang Elu Male Myaleri from the movie Jogi that starred Shiv Rajkumar and must we say he was even dressed up like Shiv Rajkumar from the movie!

The next song was sung by Govardhan Thaatha, dressed like those from the 70’s, who sang the song Love Me Or Hate Me from the movie Shankar Guru (1978) that starred Raj Kumar! This really did take us back in time.

We also had Asha Bhat looking cute as ever as she sang Malli Malli Minchulli from Gejje Naada! This one was a special one as we just could not take our eyes off her while also focusing on her melodious voice.

The last performance was by a group of artists who came together as one to sing a song for Independence Day and, honestly, that was the most beautiful performance on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa Season 17!
