Samantha Akkineni’s Fashion Label “Saaki” successfully turns a year old!

Well-known Telugu and Tamil actor Samantha Akkineni had stirred up the Indian fashion world by announcing her own fashion label Saaki, last year. Today ‘Saaki’ has successfully turned one year old and the label is abuzz with online activities #OnewithSaaki on its social media handles – giveaways, Saaki’s launch story last year, glimpses of her shoots for Saaki. The brand’s one-year anniversary celebrations will continue till October 2. 

The actor and young entrepreneur connected with fans on the occasion with a live session “Let’s Talk #Onewithsaaki with fans answering questions on challenges faced by the brand, favourite piece of clothing. Fans suggested her collaborations with other brands, maternity dresses, addition to styles, men’s wear catering to different sizes and physical built. The Family Man actress also revealed her love for dresses. 

She also responded to rumours of her shifting to Mumbai. “Like 100 other rumours, this one is also not true. Hyderabad is home and I will continue to live here.” 

Samantha also revealed that with Saaki, she has got used to working with others. “I am used to working alone but here I got to work with several people which was a lot of fun.”

When asked if her outfits reflect her mood, Samantha replied in the affirmative. She said if you look carefully, her outfits reflect her mood. 

In her Instagram post about the label, Samantha wrote, “Saaki is a reflection of who I am, as I am.”

Announcing the launch of her business venture last year, Samantha had written, “Saaki has been a dream of mine and my baby for many months. It is a reflection of my love for fashion and my journey in life. Launching soon. Hope you like it”.

Samantha’s chic and contemporary fashion sense reflects in her brand. Saaki offers smart, aesthetic, and fun clothing.  The label claims that every design of theirs has a story and every story has a journey.

     “Saaki” is a collection of contemporary range of kurtas, dresses, tops, tunics, sarees.  You can choose from a wide variety of comfortable and affordable women’s wear.

      She had announced that her aim is to make fashion “affordable and accessible to everyone”. The Super Deluxe actress Akkineni said the designs will reflect her signature style.  She has been immensely appreciated for her work, and today she has not only won the hearts of fans by ruling the cinematic world but also finds herself becoming a successful “Entrepreneur”.
