Shreya Dhanwanthary Shares Modelling Days Throwback Having A Vaani Kapoor And Bhumi Pednekar Connection

During the episode Shreya said that she wanted to be in Bollywood films very eagerly and couldn’t wait any longer and shared about her Dhoom 3 audition. She said that there was an audition that Yash Raj Films was doing. At the time, they were looking for a new girl for Dhoom 3. Bhumi Pednekar was working with Shanoo that time. Bhumi Pednekar had flown to Delhi to audition potential people who would be a good fit. Shreya was one of the people and she loved her audition.

Bhumi praised Shreya and said that she was ‘incredible’ and asked Shreya to fly down to Mumbai to meet Shanoo. Shreya found the feedback ‘heartening’ and extremely encouraging. Shreya then took the Mumbai flight for the day. Shreya also had braces at the time. It was just her and one other girl. Her name was Vaani Kapoor. They were auditioning for Shanoo, and she says, ‘Bhumi is right, you are fantastic, but she can’t put Shreya on tape with braces. So once they come off and Shreya can actually decide to take this seriously, come see Bhumi in Mumbai.’ Actually, that was the reason why she decided to finally move to Mumbai.

Speaking of Dhoom 3, the film featured Aamir Khan as an antagonist, opposite Katrina Kaif pairing. Abhishek Bachchan and Uday Chopra were once again seen in their roles of ACP Jai Dixit and crook-turned-police consultant Ali Akbar Fateh Khan, respectively.

Shreya, made her Bollywood debut in the year 2019 with Why Cheat India sharing the screenspace with Emraan Hashmi. Shreya is also known for playing a journalist named Sucheta Dalal in Pratik Gandhi’s starrer where he essayed the role of Harshad Mehta.
