Siddharth Jadhav, Sonalee Kulkarni Lend Support To #SaveCinema Campaign Urging Authorities To Consider Re-Opening Of Theatres
મનોરંજનLet’s look at how the Marathi actors joined the digital protest to demand action for reconsidering the opening of movie theatres.
The country went into lockdown a few months ago to curb the rapid spread of the ongoing Coronavirus pandemic. After being shut for more than five months, the authorities have finally eased the restrictions to reduce the economic burden. However, the entertainment industry continues to suffer as the cinema halls are still not been permitted to open according to the guidelines for Unlock 4.0 announced recently. Several people associated with the entertainment industry have now come forward to demand urgent action to re-open the theatres in India. Actors from the M-Town have also jumped on the bandwagon for urging authorities to consider lifting the restrictions on cinema halls which have remained shut ever since the first lockdown was imposed. Let’s look at the Marathi actors who joined the campaign starting with Sonalee Kulkarni.

The entertainment industry is home to many whose lives depend solely on it. So, maybe it’s high time that the authorities consider giving the cinema industry a chance to reopen just like the other industries.
