Sushant Singh Rajput Case: NCB Arrests Six As New Faces Emerge In Drug Probe

As the Sushant Singh Rajput case gets murkier with its highly evident drug angle, the Narcotics Control Bureau (NCB) has arrested another six drug dealers. All the peddlers have some direct or indirect link to actress Rhea Chakraborty’s brother Showik.

A big breakthrough is expected with the arrest of Karamjeet Singh aka KJ who was taken in after another detained peddler Anuj Keshwani named him. KJ is a well-known dealer in Mumbai who also supplies internationally. Sushant was also one of his clients, though it is not known if the actor spoke to him directly. Sanket Patel, a part of Karamjeet’s team ensured continuous supply to many celebs.

Dealer Dwayne Fernandes is in the police net for selling hash and marijuana. His associate Sandeep Gupta is an auto driver who supplied weed drugs in bulk to Dwayne as well as retail dealers. Sandeep’s aide Aftab Fateh Ansari helped him to sell the stuff in wholesale.

Ankush Arenja, who runs a kitchen in a posh Mumbai area and supplied hash to high profile customers, is the sixth member to be arrested.

In his statement to the NCB, Rhea’s brother revealed that Rajput had called him between 15-17 April saying that his stock was getting over. Samuel Miranda was also a part of these conversations, where the Jalebi actress, who was with Sushant during that period, told her brother to arrange for any other drug if hash and bud were unavailable.

As the investigating agencies try to break this drug nexus, sources reveal that the NCB will contest the bail of all the arrested persons during their court hearing today.
