Maria tells Tara that she will be using this trick to kill Maari. Maria claims that she has a weapon to kill Maari and takes out a book from the bag. She then tells Tara that she applied the deadliest snake poison found in the Amazon on the eleventh page of the book.
Vikram reaches the crematorium with Jasmine’s corpse and asks Tara to sign the papers and do the post-death rituals for Jasmine. Tara does the ritual for Jasmine and takes an oath to avenge her death.
Surya and Vikram bash the goons when they try to stop them from releasing Maari. Surya sets Maari free and rushes to the office to stop Aravind from signing the documents. But before Maari and Surya arrive Aravind signs the deal.
Abdullah overhears Aravind talking to Tara about the foreign investors coming to sign the agreement. Unaware of Tara and Aravind’s ploy, Abdullah informs Maari and Surya about Aravind’s plan.
Mohini transforms into Surya and calls out to Maari, who wakes up on hearing his voice. Devi’s spirit tries to stop Maari from stepping out of the temple.
Mohini, in the guise of Surya, tries to deceive Maari. However, Maari, the help of the goddess discovers the truth. Maari tries to enter the temple along with Surya, but Mohini holds him by neck and pulls him out of the temple.
Mohini cleverly gives Maari a rare flower as a token of thanks and asks her to smell it. Maari smells the flower and faints. Later, Mohini takes an unconscious Maari out of the house.
Mohini tries to stab a sleeping Maari, but Maari opens her eyes. Mohini lies to Maari that she is feeling thirsty and asks her to give her some water. Mohini once again tries to kill Maari but fails when Surya returns with the food.
Tara and Jasmine eagerly await to see Maari’s death. The vermillion applied by Surya on Maari, falls on the snake, killing it instantly. Maari overhears Tara and Jasmine and lashes out at them for trying to kill her unborn baby.
The villagers warn Surya about the impending danger and ask him to return. But Surya remains undeterred by their words and insists on completing the ritual.
