Thalaivii: Jayalalithaa Biopic Starrer Kangana Ranaut Falls Prey To Piracy; Gets Leaked Online

Kangana Ranaut’s been having a tough time ever since the multiplexes refused to release Thalaivii. As if the theatrical release was not problematic enough, the Queen-actress’ film Thalaivii has been leaked online. This isn’t the first instance of something like this happening. There have been several films which are facing and have faced similar problems in the past. Many films have suffered due to piracy despite the films releasing on OTT platforms. One would have assumed that OTT platforms and their economical ways would have curbed piracy completely but websites like Tamilrockerz, Movierulz, Telegram, and more are unabashedly engaging in piracy even today. The aforementioned websites have created a lot of trouble and chaos for some of the most popular films in the industry.

According to our sources, Thalaivii which just released on the 10th of September, starring Arvind Swami alongside the Queen of Jhansi herself, Kangana Ranaut has already been leaked. According to the reports the culprits are the Tamilrockers, it is this website that has leaked the entire film online. Given the film was to be released on other platforms too; making it free-downloadable on pirate sites was a mean move. The cast and crew of the film have been dealing with a lot of stress for the release of the film as the multiplexes were opposing its quick digital release.

However, the filmmaker and the lead actress, have been trying to work around all the possibilities but now, the entire film has been leaked and it will certainly amount to a setback.

Those who have seen the film claim that the actress has truly done an exceptional work portraying actress and late Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Jayalalithaa. The film is released in Hindi, Tamil, and Telugu languages. The storyline of the film showcases varied aspects of Jayalalithaa’s life, tracing her journey as an actress at a young age to becoming the face of Tamil cinema. The film is directed by A.L.Vijay and the music composer of the film is G.V.Prakash Kumar.
