The much anticipated film ‘Varudu Kaavalenu ‘ has hit the theatres on 29th of October and has been received well by the audiences. The audiences praised the movie through their social media handles and commented it to be a decent family entertainer with a marvelous cast and crew. The Naga Shaurya and Ritu Varma starrer film is directed by Lakshmi Sowjanya. The lead star of the film, Naga Shaurya, was found stating that women directors are more patient on the sets of the film, while talking about the film.
In a media interaction, where Naga Shaurya shared some vital information about his character in the movie, he also commented on his experience during the shoot of the movie. The Chalo actor specifically talked about his work experience with his director Lakshmi Sowjanya and how having a female movie director impacts the movie in a positive way, hence outperforming their male counterparts.
Naga Shaurya said that he was narrated the script of this movie back in 2018 when his movie ‘Chalo’ was released. This narration was done by Lakshmi herself whom Naga fondly calls ‘Akka.’ At that time Naga had prior commitments so he withheld his formal go ahead for the movie, though he liked the script and the main reason was that it was recited well.
The actor shared his view on working with a woman director and said that it was ‘a beautiful experience’. The actor said that this was his second film with a woman director, the first one was ‘Oh Baby’ directed by Nandini Reddy. Naga believes that women directors are patient on the set, they do not lose their temper easily and are able to manage things much subtly.
Naga Shaurya shared that his character in the movie is of an unmarried man who has entered his thirties and how he is seen by the society to be unmarried, thereafter he connects with a girl (Ritu Varma)as a future romantic prospect. He also praised Ritu for being an outstanding co-actress.
