Veteran Actor Anupam Shyam Passes Away At 63 After Multiple Organ Failure

Actor Anupam Shyam passed away At the age of 63 after suffering from a multi-organ failure. He was surrounded by his brothers at the time of his demise.

Mann Ki Awaaz: Partigya fame Anupam Shyam who played the role of Thakur Sajjan Singh passed away on Monday, following multiple organ failure at the age of 63. As per reports, he was in Mumbai’s Lifeline Care Hospital for the past four days before he breathed his last. He was hospitalised due to kidney issues and already had high blood sugar. He was reportedly in the Intensive Care Unit (ICU) and was put on a ventilator for the last few days.

While talking to the media, actor Yashpal Sharma said that he rushed to the hospital as soon as he heard about his demise. However, when he reached there, he found that Shyam was “still breathing” and was later declared dead by the doctors.

As per reports, Shyam died in the presence of his two brothers Anurag and Kanchan. Sharma said that his mortal remains will be brought back to his residence in New Dindoshi, MHADA colony and the final rites will take place later in the day.

Soon after his passing, celebs took to social media to mourn the demise of the veteran actor. Actress Pooja Gor, who worked with him on Pratigya wrote, “Pratigya and Sajjan Singh Thakur might have had opposing ideologies but ‘Bitya’ and ‘Bauji’s’ relationship was extremely special. You took me under your wings, taught me the correct pronunciation and like a teacher, guided me on to the path of success, for which I will forever be grateful to you.”

Actor Manoj Joshi wrote, “Saddened by the demise of my friend and very talented actor Anupam Shyam ji. We have lost a great man. My deepest condolences to his family and friends. Om Shanti”
