World Rivers Day: Angad Hasija, Harsimran Oberoi, Kanwalpreet Singh promote river conservation

Punjab is the land of five rivers. The rivers Beas, Chenab, Jhelum, Ravi, and Sutlej together bless Punjab with its rich soil and fertile land. So, on the occasion of World Rivers Day, the stars of Zee Punjabi came together and made a special request to their fans.

In this video, our favourite characters request their fans to protect the rivers from pollution. Khasma Nu Khani‘s Deshpreet (Harsimran Oberoi) calls herself Chenab, the river of prosperity. Kamli Ishq Di‘s Mahi (Shehnaz Saher) introduces herself as Bias, the river that keeps everyone together. Vilayti Bhabhi‘s Sandy (Kanwalpreet Singh) proclaims himself as Sutlej, the biggest river of Punjab. Tera Rang Chadeya‘s Seerat (Neha Thakur) greets the fans as Jhelam, the most attractive river. Last, but not the least, Tu Patang Main Dor‘s Zarina (Chetna Singh) calls herself Ravi, the river that connects India with Pakistan and spreads the message of peace.

Then, Tera Rang Chadeya‘s JD (Angad Hasija) comes in and gives us a wake-up call to protect these five gems. He urges people to take an oath to protect these rivers from contamination. What will you do to make sure the rivers of Punjab are protected? Let us know in the comments below.
