Bodyguard: A Perfect Drama and Action Film

Featuring Venkatesh and Trisha, Bodyguard is a 2012 Telugu language romantic action film. Bodyguard Venkatadri, who was hired to guard Varadarajula Naidu's family, including his daughter Keerthi, is the narrative's focus. But when Keerthi pretends to be a stranger and starts corresponding with Venkatadri to get rid of him, she falls in love with him, and their lives take an unexpected turn.

The romantic comedy action and drama movie Bodyguard, released in 2012 in the Telugu language, was produced by Bellamkonda Suresh under the Sri Sai Ganesh Productions label and helmed by Gopichand Malineni. With music by S. Thaman, the movie features Venkatesh and Trisha as the leads. It is a remake of the identically named 2010 Malayalam film.

Bodyguard Movie Plotline

The Varadarajula Naidu family is under the protection of Venkatadri (Venkatesh), a fierce bodyguard (Prakash Raj). The Naidu family's college-bound daughter Keerthi (Trisha) is accompanied to the institution by 

Venkatadri to keep an eye on her. 

Tired of Venkatadri's constant vigilance, Keerthi and her companion Swathi devise a scheme to divert Venkatadri's attention by contacting him from a personal line; Keerthi tries to avoid him. 

Without realizing it is Keerthi, Venkatadri falls in love with the girl. Keerthi also expresses her desire to see Venkatadri in person at one point when she begins to feel attracted to him. Venkatadri is instructed to meet her at a train station to go together.

Venkatadri and Keerthi appear to Naidu as if they intend to flee. Keerthi says Venkatadri is seeing a different girl at the railway station to protect her from Naidu's wrath. However, he orders his supporters to kill Venkatadri if a female does not appear at the station. Keerthi is so terrified that she sends Swathi to the station to inform Venkatadri that she is the lover and will not be able to arrive in time.

Swathi, upon meeting Venkatadri, falls in love and pretends to be the lover. After being married, Venkatadri and Swathi have a son. Shortly later, Swathi dies. However, she leaves a diary for her son before she passes away. Later, the son and Venkatadri visit an elderly Naidu at Keerthi's residence. Keerthi's continued single status astounds Venkatadri.

When his son asks Keerthi to join him and become his mother, Venkatadri is upset with him for being so harsh and direct. They proceed together to the train, but as they are about to leave, the son puts the diary into a nearby garbage can. Finding the diary, Venkatadri quickly learns that Keerthi is his true love and the woman who had patiently waited for him for many years. When Keerthi learns that Venkatadri has come to see the truth and who she is, she is overcome with excitement and gladness.

The Performance of the Bodyguard Cast

Venkatesh is renowned for playing roles with a strong emotional component and a sympathetic protagonist. No different from his part in Bodyguard. In sequences where the protagonist is subtly creating a lot of drama, he is ideal. He doesn't move well, and his appearance in the safari costume is forced.
