Martin is determined not to let the villagers celebrate ‘Nabanna Utsav’. Meanwhile, Rani mentions to Anandamoyee that she craves sour food and the latter assumes that Rani is pregnant. Dugga informs Rani about Martin’s malicious intents. Rani tells Dugga that she wants to meet Gangaram. Later, Gangaram is arrested by the police. The next day, Martin tries to burn the warehouse of rice, but a man stops him. The villagers tell Chandra that Gangaram, dressed as a hunter, has saved the rice.
