The pain of 18 years' separation from her husband comes out with outrage and lots of weeping from Anupriya. Kalyani has tears in her eyes for her mother's prolonged pain of loneliness. She tries calming Anupriya, but the latter sends her out of her room to stay aloof. Malhar returns home and seeing both in pain, he tries to console them and then lets them be.
