5 Times Nalu Was Stung By Malavika’s Harsh Words In Yeu Kashi Tashi Me Nandayla

Malavika prides herself on the success of the Khavilkar Group and she assumes to be the decision-maker and the head of the family due to this as well. She is arrogant and cannot see past her money. She respects no one except for the rich and influential people. Her image is very important to her and she does not even care to make pretence of being sweet. She says what she wants to whoever she wants and does not care if the other person might be humiliated. Right from the beginning of the show, when Nalu met Shaku at her house, Malavika has berated her and the whole Salvi family.

Nalu and Shaku have a deep connection and their friendship has stood the test of time and now their reconnection has only given both their families more joy and love. But Malavika thinks otherwise. To her, Nalu is a lower class woman who is just using their status to get their help.

On their first meeting

When they first meet, Shaku introduces Nalu as Sweetu’s mother. She had met Sweetu earlier and recalls saying, “Ti zaadi?” with a really rude tone. Shaku and Nalu are shocked. Malavika is furious about Shaku having sent Omkar out without her permission and she starts to yell at Shaku in front of Nalu. Nalu intervenes and asks her what the matter is. She is appalled at the way Malavika is speaking to her own mother. Malavika does not like her interjection at all. She begins to berate Nalu on her appearance. She calls her poor and tells her that she doesn’t deserve to even sit on her couch!

At Shaku’s anniversary party

When Malavika hosts a party for her parents’ anniversary celebrations, she hires Vasant as a waiter, knowing his identity. Upon seeing Vasant in such a costume, makes Nalu and Sweetu tear up. Malavika even asks Shaku why she bothered to invite the Salvis to their prestigious function in front of Nalu!

When the Salvis stayed with the Khanvilkars

When Omkar invites the Salvis to the Khanvilkar house to surprise Sweetu, Malavika feels annoyed and begins to plot ways to drag their image down. She targets Chinnya, Sharad and Vasant individually and then decides to host a small party with her girlfriends in the house where she begins to lie about the Salvis. She tells her friends that Nalu runs a food business and produces snacks in her factory and that they are very well to do. Malavika says this but her implication that she is lying is very hurtful to Nalu.

When Nalu goes to visit a sick Shaku

When Shaku falls sick, Nalu drops everything aside to go visit her friend. She sees that Malavika couldn’t care less about her sick mother and decides to spend time with her. Malavika finds Nalu and insults her by telling her that Nalu does not possess the social standing needed to be friends with Shaku. She accuses Nalu of having ill-intentions and dreams of Sweetu and Omkar’s marriage. Malavika lets her know that all her care and friendship is not going to amount to anything so she should drop the farce altogether. This upsets Nalu so deeply that she refuses to let Sweetu stay with the Khanvilkars.

When Shaku and Omkar visit Ambernath behind Malavika’s back

Missing Sweetu, Omkar and Shaku decide to go to Ambernath. They lie to Malavika to do so but Malavika catches them in Nalu’s house. She again catches hold of Nalu and this time Malavika demands that Nalu break her friendship with Shaku. Nalu stands her ground and tells Malavika that she will not let Sweetu go back to the Khanvilkar house, but she will never break her friendship with Shaku.

Now with troubles in Vasant’s job, we think that another such occasion could soon come up.
