It usually involves a puja ki thali, a kalash filled with rice, and the red-painted feet of the bride walking in. We all know how dramatic and full of twists Zee shows can be and so there have been many Zee bahus who have not received a proper Grih Pravesh ceremony at all! Either the custom was ditched altogether, or done begrudgingly, with hate instead of love! Take a look at all the Zee bahus who did not get a proper welcome into their new lives!

The police were also involved and the lady officers ensured that Preeta got her rights even though no one in the Luthra family wanted to give them to her. They actually wanted her to leave the house but because the police threatened to put them all in jail, they grudgingly made Preeta enter the house with hasty rituals and angry faces!
