Priyanka Chopra Jonas recently announced that she is joining hands with Indian Women Rising, to raise money for the education of two young girls, Rani and Renukumari. The two girls played the lead role in the critically-acclaimed short film, Bittu, which is also amongst the Indian films that stand a chance at the Oscars. On the occasion of International Women’s Day, the Twitter handle of Indian Women Rising released a video featuring Priyanka Chopra Jonas and her willingness to help the women gain proper education She also encouraged the viewers to donate money through the fundraiser so that the two talented young girls can have a secure future. The foundation IWR was launched by Ekta Kapoor and Tahira Kashyap and currently focuses on female talent in the industry.
