Christopher Nolan is best known for films such as Interstellar, Inception, and The Dark Knight Trilogy, which have made waves in Hollywood. Following the release of Tenet in 2020, it has been confirmed that Nolan is already working on his next film, Oppenheimer. Robert Downey Jr. will contribute his talents to a Christopher Nolan-directed movie, marking the actor’s first collaboration with the creative filmmaker after an amazing tenure as Iron Man in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. In the Marvel Cinematic Universe, Robert Downey Jr. is best known for his role as Tony Stark/Iron Man, while Matt Damon would rejoin with Nolan after leading the sci-fi epic, Interstellar.

Oppenheimer is Nolan’s debut film for Universal, and it marks the end of his association with Warner Bros. The arrangement between Nolan and Universal made headlines because of his demands, which included an exclusive 100-day theatrical run, a $100 million marketing budget, a $100 million production budget, and complete creative freedom.

Cillian Murphy has been revealed to join the cast of the picture as the eponymous character, while Emily Blunt is also said to be in the cast. If negotiations go well, Matt Damon and Robert Downey will join Emily Blunt and Cillian Murphy in the film about J. Robert Oppenheimer, the scientist who oversaw the Manhattan Project, which resulted in the development of the atomic bomb.

Aside from Murphy’s titular character, Blunt will play his wife, Katherine “Kitty” Oppenheimer, according to the outlet. Downey will play Lewis Strauss, the Atomic Energy Commissioner who spearheaded hearings that questioned Oppenheimer’s loyalty to the United States. Damon will play Lt. Gen.
