Bollywood actor Abhay Deol recently made it to the headlines, all thanks to his upcoming film. The Raanjhanaa actor took to social media to share the trailer for his upcoming Disney original titled, Spin. The film is scheduled to release on August 13, 2021, on Disney’s platform. However, unfortunately, it’s currently available only for the US audience. Read on to know more about the film and Abhay’s role in it.
All about the Disney Original Spin
The Disney original, Spin, is the story of an Indian American girl settled in the US. The trailer starts off by showing the monotonous life of Rhea Kumar essayed by Avantika Vandanapu. Later, Max(Michael Bishop) a hot teenage DJ enters her life and changes it for good. As the romance blossoms, Max introduces Rhea to the world of music and spinning after Rhea expresses her interest in DJing. The story then revolves around Rhea finding the courage to go after her dreams.

The film is helmed by Manjari Makijany who recently made her directorial debut with the Netflix original Skater Girl. The trailer of the film shared by Abhay Deol has truly intrigued the audience about the film. The film focuses on the Indian diaspora living in the US and how the teens try to fit into both cultures.

Abhay Deol in Disney’s Spin
