After Roohi, Janhvi Kapoor And Rajkummar Rao To Team Up Again

Janhvi Kapoor and Rajkummar Rao, who were first seen in their comedy-horror film, Roohi, will soon be seen in a new project together. Janhvi Kapoor who made her debut with Dhadak in 2018, has featured in a few films like Gunjan Saxena, Ghost Stories and Roohi. Her latest upcoming project is Karan Johar’s Dostana 2 which seemed to have recasting issues after Kartik Aaryan was reportedly fired from the cast.

Now according to reports, Janhvi Kapoor will be back with her Roohi co-star for another project which is yet to be titled. This new project will be a sports-based film and will follow the real-life story of a cricketer. The film will showcase the different aspects of cricket and the life of a cricketer through their leads, Janhvi and Rajkummar.

Currently, Rajkummar Rao has a couple of projects in his pipeline. He will be seen next to Bhumi Pednekar in Badhai Do and the actors have wrapped up the shoot of the film. He will now be seen in Monica, O My Darling along with Huma Qureshi and Radhika Apte. He recently took to Instagram to share some clips from the shoot of his latest film:

Rajkummar Rao and Janhvi Kapoor‘s film Roohi was released during the pandemic in the theatres after the first wave was over. Yet, not too many people visited the theatres and the general response to the horror-comedy was mild even though it was made by the makers of Stree. It is yet to be seen if their second outing together will farewell. As of now, the cast and crew for the project are yet to be revealed and there have been no official announcements made by the actors.
