There have been several Bollywood celebrities in the past who have suffered from deadly accidents. From Hema Malini to Sunny Leone, many actors almost lost their lives. Take a look at some of the most popular actors who survived these accidents.

Mahima Chaudhary

Mahima Chaudhary is known for her roles in films like Pardes, Dil Kya Kare, Dhadkan and Dobara. In 1999, the actor suffered from a massive car accident. Her car was hit by a truck when she was on her way to shoot for the film Dil Kya Kare. Due to this accident, 67 glass pieces hit her face which was later removed by the doctors.

Anu Agarwal

Anu Agarwal is popularly known for her role in Aashiqui. The actor had a car accident on the Pune Mumbai express highway. She had bled a lot before she was brought to a hospital. The actor was in Coma for over a month after which she lost her memory. After many years of treatment, she was finally back to normal.

Shabana Azmi

On January 20, 2020, Shabana Azmi was found unconscious in her car when a truck hit it from the side on the Mumbai Pune express highway. She injured her head and hand severely. She was later admitted to the MGM hospital in Navi Mumbai.

Hema Malini

In 2015, Hema Malini was severely injured in a car accident. She injured her hand and had to take several stitches on her face. She had to undergo plastic surgery to bring her face back to normal. A child travelling in the car which hit her car lost his life.

Amitabh Bachchan

During the shoot of Coolie, Amitabh Bachchan was severely injured during an action scene. He was hit on the stomach by one of his co-actors. He had to battle for his life for several months after this incident.

Sonu Sood

Bollywood actor Sonu Sood’s car caught fire when he was travelling from the Western express highway. He immediately jumped out of his car without waiting for too long. However, he injured his hands and legs in the incident.

Saif Ali Khan

Saif Ali Khan fainted on the sets of Kya Kehna Hai in 2000. He was hit by a stone in his head and had to take several stitches for the same. The film shoot was postponed due to the incident.

Sunny Leone

Sunny Leone and her husband Daniel Webber almost lost their lives in a jet crash. They had to do an emergency landing of their jet. However, the two weren’t injured as much.

Zaira Wasim is popularly known for her role in Dangal. She and her friends were caught up in a car accident. Their car had almost drowned near the Dal Lake. The locals in the area helped them exit the car before it drowned.
