Atrangi Re: Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan And Dhanush Starrer Gets Direct-To-Web Release

Even after the re-opening of theaters, Akshay Kumar, Sara Ali Khan, and Dhanush’s Atrangi Re is now looking for a digital release. The dates are filled with new film launches every day. Akshay Kumar also said that Atrangi Re is not a big-ticket film so the makers have decided to launch it on a digital platform. The decision was taken after months of discussion. Makers feel that launching it on the digital platform will have a better and greater reach to the target audience. As of now, all the theaters have been opening, slowly and steadily all over India.

A source close to the makers revealed that the paperwork is still pending, The makers are on the edge of signing the deal with a digital platform. The date of the premiere will be locked soon. Well, Atrangi Re is Akshay Kumar’s second collaboration with Aanand L Rai, the actor-director duo also has Raksha Bandhan in the pipeline that is going to release in theatres on August 11. Atrangi Re will be Akshay Kumar second digital platform release after Raghava Lawrence directed Laxxmi.

Akshay Kumar’s Raksha Bandhan is going to clash with Prabhas-starer Adipurush in the cinema. Akshay Kumar is one of the busiest actors in Bollywood with films like Sooryavanshi, Prithviraj, Bachchan Pandey, Raksha Bandhan, Ram Setu, Oh My God 2, Cinderellauder in the pipeline for the actor. The Khiladi actor is also getting ready for his another digital show on a digital platform from March 2022. Akshay’s Comedy venture by Priyadarshan is in progress. On the other hand, Akshay is once again working with the film director of Good Newwz director Raj Mehta and they’ve been discussing a human drama which is expected to start from the summer of 2022.
