मनोरंजन/ एंटरटेनमेंटTV ShowsFrom Kriti Garg’s Rahu to Pooja Hegde’s Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava, here are a few movies you can watch, with some path-breaking women.
With Women’s Day around the corner, it is a good idea to celebrate movies that gave us female characters who broke all barriers. From Bhanu in Raahu to Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava‘s Pooja, we love these women and think that these movies are a must-watch!
Watch the trailer for Raahu right here!
1) Raahu
Raahu starring Kriti Garg as Bhanu will finally show how women do not need to confine to any shackles! Bhanu leads the story and will make sure that you are glued to the screen till the end. Hysterical blindness does not stop Bhanu from protecting herself in the most dangerous of situations and you cannot miss it.
2) Geetha Govindam
Starring Rashmika Mandanna and Vijay Deverakonda, Geetha Govindam won all our hearts with its protagonists! We love the fact that Geetha did not shy away from telling people that she was harassed, and it was refreshing to watch a strong woman like her on-screen after a long time!
3) Geethanjali
Geethanjali starring Anjali, was certainly one of her best performances. Anjali nailed the role while carrying the film on her shoulders, and played the roles of Geetha and Anjali, who are two very different characters. The two female characters, both strong women in their own respects, make this movie a treat to watch.
4) Oh My Friend
Oh My Friend starring Shruti Haasan and Siddharth, revolves around two childhood friends who mean the world to each other, but their significant others are not in favour of their friendship because they do not understand it. Shruti plays the role of Siri who is a responsible woman who follows her passion unabashedly.

5) Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava
Aravinda Sametha Veera Raghava starring Pooja Hegde and Jr. NTR might not be Aravinda’s story, but it is certainly about how Aravinda changed the course of the story. Aravinda is your girl next door, but she is also influential and smart enough to make Raghava change his thought process and choose a peaceful route.
