Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui: Ayushmann Khurrana Takes Content-Pole Cinema To New Heights; Says, Director Abhishek Kapoor

Ayushmann Khurrana, a Bollywood actor, has branded himself as India’s current standard-bearer for content-driven movies. His spectacular social performances have brought forbidden themes into the light for public discussion, earning him the title of one of “Most Influential People in the World.”

Chandigarh Kare Aashiqui, Ayushmann’s next film, is directed by Abhishek Kapoor, who previously directed Kai Po Che, Rock On, and Kedarnath. Abhishek revealed how Ayushmann’s performance in his romance flick as a gym trainer from Chandigarh is spot on.  He said that he felt creating interesting people is essential to being a filmmaker and Ma nu’s character had been with him for almost 2 years even before the film was released.  Ayushmann strolled in and took over the role in no time. He was a perfect fit for the part, and he added his own touches to it.
