The actress first released a video in December, wherein she was seen singing a song while promoting Tusshar Kapoor’s book and it has since gained a lot of publicity on social networking sites. The netizens were polarized after a social media user re-shared the actresses’ video on Twitter. While some social media users loved seeing the clip, the majority had a quite different reaction.

Esha Deol expressed her amazement at the news, saying that she is very stunned that it has gotten out now. She taped it in December for Tusshar when pre-orders for his novel Bachelor Dad were being taken, and people have been waking up late to it. The feedback has been lukewarm. Some people believe she is a wonderful friend, which she is. Some people believe she should just not sing, and she completely understands. She never claimed to be a fantastic singer. Esha stated that making the clip for her pal Tusshar Kapoor was a lot of fun.
