Janhvi Kapoor has said that the biggest movie bluff according to her is none other than her cousin, Harshvardhan Kapoor! Following his debut in Rakeysh Omprakash Mehra’s Mirzya, the actor starred in the vigilante drama Bhavesh Joshi Superhero. While he received critical recognition for his portrayal in Vikram Motwane’s much-loved film AK versus AK, he was nominated for a Filmfare OTT Award for Best Film for his film Spotlight by Vasan Bala, which is part of the anthology Ray. The star-child has never been afraid to go off the beaten path.
The multi-talented and progressive actor has never shied away from taking a risk. Harshvardhan Kapoor’s distinct and unconventional cinema tastes are well-known. Janhvi Kapoor remarked about it during a recent interview. She said that, Harshvardhan is the biggest movie buff and thinks that he is the most knowledgeable about cinema – world cinema, Hindi cinema. She also stated that a lot of Anil Kapoor’s successful decisions lately have been attributed to Harsh. Anil Kapoor indeed agrees to this and has said that he has gained a lot from his son and his new-age taste and vision.

Harshavardhan has claimed that there was a time in his life when he only watched two movies per day. In his twenties, he watched a lot more movies than he does now. He was studying screenwriting and seeing incredibly indie things that no one had heard of by the time he was 18. He began to watch Shia LaBeouf, Andrew Garfield, and Emile Hirsch in the film, Into the Wild. ‘I want to do that,’ he remarked during the interview. ‘That’s the kind of filmography I’d like to have.’
Harshvardhan Kapoor recently appeared in one of the films in the digital anthology Ray, which was recently launched.

Ray, a digital anthology of four films based on four short stories by the revolutionary director Satyajit Ray, was just released. Kapoor stars in the film Spotlight, directed by Vasan Bala. He plays a Bollywood star that is straining under the weight of his own fame and longing to evolve as an artist and go beyond the same characteristics with which he is associated.
