John Abraham’s Satyameva Jayate 2 Wraps Up Shooting, Film To Release In September

Bollywood actor John Abraham is one of the most talented and celebrated actors in the industry. Although he’s worked across genres, dabbling from comedy, drama, action and romance, what worked the best for him was his 2018 vigilante action film Satyameva Jayate. Now owing to the success of this film, the makers decided to come back with a sequel. While the audience was excited to see John in Satyameva Jayate 2, the film got postponed multiple times. However, according to latest updates, the shoot has been wrapped up and the movie might release soon.

Latest update on Satyameva Jayate 2

The makers of Satyameva Jayate 2 had to postpone the film multiple times due to COVID-19 restrictions. The film began its principal photography in October 20, 2019 and was scheduled to release on October 2, 2020. Later, as COVID-19 struck the nation it was postponed to Eid 2021. In fact, it was supposed to clash with Salman Khan’s Radhe – Your Most Wanted Bhai. As shooting was halted due to the second wave of COVID-19, the release date was postponed once again. However, according to recent reports, the shooting for Satyameva Jayate 2 has wrapped up and the film is currently in the post production stage.

If sources are to be believed, the makers are eyeing for a theatrical release of the film. The tentative release date is considered to be in the month of September 2021. Apart from featuring John Abraham in his first ever double performance, Satyameva Jayate 2 also stars Manoj Bajpayee, Divya Khosla Kumar, Amyra Dastur, Milap Zaveri, Gautami Kapoor, Annup Sonii and Shaad Randhawa in prominent roles.

Other upcoming films

On the work front, John has quite a few films in his kitty. Other than Satyameva Jayate 2, John will be soon seen in Attack, Ek Villain Returns and Pathan.
