Similarly, Zee Marathi’s Kaay Ghadla Tya Ratri has redefined the genre of whodunnits on TV, certainly leaving us with shockers from each passing episode.

The death investigation of a renowned TV star is at the heart of this show. Capturing essential themes, the slow-paced investigation drama has kept us hooked to our screens from the very beginning. Unfolding from the perspective of ACP Revati Borkar and her investigation, there have been many revelations that created interesting twists in the narrative. 

Similarly, the recent series of events has led to Shivani’s arrest which has been stated as the “first arrest” in Siddhant Chhaya’s death probe. So, here’s scrutinizing a few reasons that might have led Revati to take a crucial step against Shivani.

The Hidden Affair

Remember the first episode where Siddhant disclosed to his friends about the “big plans” he had, ahead of getting his first break in Hindi Cinema. During which he also talked about his only love-interest Shivani and their plans of leading a luxurious life post their marriage. However, after his unfortunate death, Shivani never opened up about their relationship and also went on to cover his death story for the sake of “TRP”. 

Siddhant’s love affair never showed up during the investigation so far and some new revelations about the hidden affair might have got Shivani under the radar of Revati.

The Personal Clash

Recently, Shivani ran a news capsule targeting actress Sanjana and also accused her of being the prime culprit in Siddhant’s death case. Earlier too, we have witnessed the clash of egos between them and yet again, Shivani created a propaganda campaign against Sanjana, misleading people. She tried to highlight fake evidence i.e., of “Sanjana’s scarf” in her news story.

And this might be one of the reasons that has landed Shivani in deep trouble ahead, misleading the on-going investigation.
