Major Actor Adivi Shesh Opens Up About The Delay In The Release Of His Upcoming Film

The upcoming action film Major has been getting delayed for a very long time now. Cinema lovers are really excited for the film to release, however, due to COVID-19  the release is getting delayed multiple times. While speaking about the delay, the film’s lead actor Adivi Shesh reportedly said that “Right now, I don’t want to risk anyone’s life due to COVID-19”. He further added that Major has been made only for theatrical release. Even if they have to wait a year for its release, they would certainly do so.

As per the reports, he was asked what he thinks about OTT platforms. He answered saying, “OTT is a very good space and is a great platform for films and web series.” He also added that OTT is a wonderful platform for those actors or actresses who are not ‘used’ enough in mainstream cinema.

The actor was also asked about the ongoing pandemic and how many actors are not ‘active’ during this difficult time. To this, he said, “Many Bollywood celebrities are helping others. Some of them don’t showcase it in media but they are indeed helping others on a very large scale.”

Adivi Shesh was also asked about his future projects or if he has signed any. He responded by saying that he has not signed any project so far neither has he collaborated with a director or producer for a future project. He further said that he will be collaborating soon and will soon present the fans with entertaining content in the future.

“Obviously I am planning for my future but right now, the most important thing to me is my health, my family’s health and my audience’s health”, he said. He concluded the interview by giving some ‘tips’ on how to take care of yourself amid these difficult times. Major is biopic based on the life of Major Sandeep Unnikrishnan, who died while fighting the terrorist during the 26/11 Mumbai attack.
