Nargis Fakhri Opens About Dating Uday Chopra; Regrets Keeping Her Relation Under Wraps, ‘Should’ve Shouted From The Mountain Top’
Nargis Fakhri opens a chapter of the past and reveals she dated Uday Chopra for five years and regrets keeping her relationship secret
Nargis is well known for her work in various films like Mai Tera Hero sharing Screenspace with Varun Dhawan, Ileana D’Cruz, Rockstar alongside Ranbir Kapoor, Housefull 3, and much more. The actress recently opened a chapter from the last that not many people knew about which was dating Dhoom star Uday Chopra who’s entertained audiences with his antiques on-screen.
Speaking about her relationship with Uday Nargis said to E Times, “Uday and I dated for 5 years and he was the most beautiful human I met in India. I never have said this to the press as people told me to keep my relationship quiet, but I regret that because I should have shouted from the mountain tops that I was with such a beautiful soul. The internet and social media are very fake and the people out there won’t know what the truth is. Most often we idolize certain people who are actually bad behind closed doors.”
Nargis also said that she had the most fun with co-star Varun. They worked in Main Tera Heroin 2014. “I really enjoyed working with all of my co-actors. But with each person, you develop a different type of rapport. I think I had the most fun with Varun Dhawan on set. He’s just really full of energy and positivity and he’s funny so it’s contagious”
Nargis is also remembered really well for her stint in Rockstar as Heer. Although she did receive some flack on portraying the character the film did well on box office numbers. The model-actress has been out of action for a while for her health issues and while she planned the chart of coming back the pandemic came set in and destroyed her plans.
There were rumors that Nargis and Ranbir too shared a romantic bond to which she replied, “To this day, I am grateful to have worked with Ranbir as my first co-star. He is a fantastic actor and easy to work with. Also getting to know his mom was a blessing as she was very sweet to me. It was really comforting to have her in my life at that time as I was all alone in India”
