The ‘Jamai Raja‘ Actress, Had got her first big breakthrough with Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, in which she played the role of Manvi Chaudhary. However, the show went off the air in 2013. Later Nia was cast in Jamai Raja in 2014.

In a conversation with a radio host, Nia Sharma said she was all by herself when she came to the telly industry. She was fresh from Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai, which was the show that made her a household name. After that, there was a gap of a year, she added.

Nia Sharma then revealed that Instagram was not a source of income for actors, as it is now. The actress even opened up on how she still has no concrete project but works in music videos and brand collaboration. But in 2013, that was not the case.

She reportedly said in a statement, after Ek Hazaaron Mein Meri Behna Hai till Jamai Raja, there was a nine-month gap. She was all alone in Mumbai. She had no friends because, obviously, she was new. She used to stayed in her shell and didn’t spiral with anyone else. She worked on herself and started learning belly dancing. Nia added that she never wants to relive those nine months when she had no work, no friends, and did not earn a single penny.

Trollers have slammed Nia for her choice of clothing, she has also been slut-shamed, but she has given it back to her haters in a smart way. The TV actress has been the subject of a lot of online harassment in the past. Nia dealt with a lot in recent years, from comments on her wardrobe to being called vulgar.

On the professional front, Nia Sharma was lately seen as a visitor on a reality tv show. She was also featured in a new music video labeled ‘Do Ghoot.’ Nia’s previous full-fledged acting project was season 2 of a popular soap opera that also starred Ravi Dubey.
