It is a story of gender politics, political conspiracies, revenge, and human greed that ultimately decides the fate of Paurashpur. This magnum opus series stars a powerful cast that includes Milind Soman, Shilpa Shinde, Shaheer Sheikh, Annu Kapoor, Poulomi das, and more in lead roles.

1. Annu Kapoor as Maharaja BhadraPratap Singh
Annu Kapoor is all set to play the role of a ruthless and wicked king – Maharaja BhadraPratap Singh of Paurashpur. BhadraPratap Singh is a masochist who has patriarchy running in his veins. He treats women as slaves and mere objects for his gratification. He either makes the rules of breaks the rules
2. Shilpa Shinde as Queen Meerawati
Shilpa Shinde will be seen playing the role of Rani Meerawati – the first wife of Maharaja BhadraPratap Singh. Queen Meerawati is a devoted wife who also knows how to manipulate the men around her in order to rise to power. She is bold, beautiful, and brave.
3. Milind Soman as Boris
Actor and Model Milind Soman will be essaying the role of a revolutionist named Boris. He stands for gender equality and raises important questions related to patriarchy. He is a healer and a confidante with a fearless attitude that helps him fight for revolution.
4. Poulomi Das as Kala
Kala’s role will be portrayed by actress Poulomi Das. Kala is a daasi to Queen Meerawati who holds a beauty like no one else and has the heart of a warrior. She is a bold and impressionable girl and her journey to becoming a queen will be one of the highlights of the show.
