Ram Charan and Alia Bhatt’s RRR to release in theaters on January 7, 2022

Ending the suspense, the team of ‘RRR’, one of the most talked-about projects, has announced the official release date. This high-action period drama has joined the 2022 Sankranthi race and will release on January 7th 2022.

This is the fourth release date announced by the team ‘RRR’ and this time they are firm on the release. Before finalising the date, director Rajamouli and his team brainstormed a lot and considered multiple dates. Finally, they opted for January 7th.

About the movie ‘RRR’:

Director SS Rajamouli’s upcoming period film features Jr NTR, Ram Charan, Alia Bhatt, and Ajay Devgn in lead roles. The release date was announced with a special poster featuring the four actors. The post-production work of the big-budget film is currently progressing at a brisk pace in Hyderabad and is expected to be wrapped up soon.

Sharing a new poster, The ‘RRR’ team wrote,” experience India’s biggest action drama, #RRRMovie in theaters worldwide on 7th Jan 2022. #RRROnJan7th, an @ssarajamouli film.

This is the first poster to feature four actors from the film. While Ram Charan plays the role of Alluri Seetharama Raju, Jr NTR will be playing the role of Komaram Bheem. Alia Bhatt, who essays the role of Sita, is paired opposite Ram Charan. The film will be available in different languages including English, Portuguese, Turkish, Spanish, and Korean.

Produced by DVV Danayya, RRR is a big-budget film made on a budget of over Rs 450 crore. The film will release in nearly 10 languages, including Tamil, Telugu, Hindi, Malayalam, Kannada, and English.

RRR was initially slated for a grand release on January 8, 2021. It was then postponed to October 13. Due to the covid-19 pandemic, RRR’s release date was postponed twice. Alia and Ajay’s Gangubai Kathiawadi will release on January 6, One day ahead of RRR’s release. The two actors will have back to back releases.

Meanwhile, Ram Charan has now started working on another yet to be titled film #RC15, which is being directed by Shankar and has Kaira Advani as the female lead. The movie is being touted as a political drama.
