He has, today, become a household name among the Indian audiences as all his roles have been very widely loved and appreciated.

Early Life And Family:
Ram Kapoor was born on 1 September 1973. He spent his early life at the reputable university of Sherwood, in Nainital, Uttarakhand. Kapoor was attracted to the theatre at Sherwood College, where he joined the show for Charley’s Aunt’s annual school theatre show. Kapoor discovered his profession underneath the guidance and mentorship of Aamir Raza Husain and realized his passion for acting.
Kapoor started studying at the Kodaikanal International School, after finishing his class 10 board exams. After graduating, Kapoor wanted to pursue the entertainment industry and opted to leave for Los Angeles, United States, with the desire to join UCLA to pursue moviemaking. However, he enrolled himself in a Stanislavski-based acting training facility in Los Angeles.
Ram is married to actress and co-star Gautami Kapoor. They have two children together, Sia and Aks.
Career:
Kapoor marked his on-screen debut with television serial Nyaay (1997).
He ended up acting in three more series, Heena (1998), Sangharsh (1999) and Kavita (2000).
In 2000, he acted in the iconic family drama Ghar Ek Mandir.
Ram once again collaborated with Aamir Raza Husain in the play The Fifty Days of War-Kargil, which ran for 10 days in New Delhi as a salute to the Kargil War heroes.
In 2001, Kapoor also acted in the serial Kabhi Aaye Na Judaai, Rishtey and made an appearance in the popular movie Monsoon Wedding by Mira Nair.
He also starred in movies such as Dhadkan (2003) and Awaz- Dil Se Dil Tak, pursued by Hazaaron Khwaishein Aisi and Bali (2004).
Kapoor was seen in movies like Devaki, Kal and Missed Call in 2005.
In 2006, he featured as the character of Jai Udai Walia in the series Kasamh Se, after which Kapoor was seen in Jhalak Dikhhla Jaa as a contestant and Rakhi Ka Swayamvar as a host.
Kapoor appeared in two films in 2010. The first one was the super successful film, Karthik Calling Karthik, whose star cast included Deepika Padukone and Farhan Akhtar.
The second movie was Udaan, which was widely appreciated and loved by everyone from the audience to the critics and also bagged a few awards because of how well it was made.
In 2011, Ram became a part of the show Bade Ache Lagte Hai that went onto become a huge hit on TV.
Besides this, Ram also was a part of the successful web series Abhay and Karle Tu Bhi Mohabbat on ZEE5.
