Read Mindy Kaling views about posting her Children’s Photographs on social media
HollywoodMindy Kaling said that she prefers to wait till her children are old enough to consent to their images being shared publicly before doing so herself.
Since the birth of her daughter Katherine in 2017, Mindy Kaling has been honest about her motherhood experience. She has two children, Katherine, her daughter, and Spencer, her son, whom she welcomed last year, and while she clearly enjoys chatting about life with her two children on social media, she refuses to upload pictures of them. In an interview, she explained why she is keeping their faces off social media for the time being. And She further said that, while she doesn’t judge other celebrities for posting photos of their children, she prefers to wait till her children are old enough to consent to their images being shared publicly before doing so herself.
According to Those, she stated, ‘I have no judgment for people in the public eye who share photos and videos of their children,’ ‘I get the impression that [my kids] don’t really want to do it right now.’ … I’m thinking I’ll wait till they’re old enough to decide whether or not they want to be a part of my social media.’
‘Sometimes it’s just a safety thing,” she said. I don’t want to be at the airport and have someone say, “Spencer, Katherine,” and then look at the folks as if they know or are friends with them. As a child, I believe that would be extremely confusing.’
Her fears and misgivings are legitimate, and it’s clear why any parent would be concerned about their young children’s online presence – especially if their parents are well-known, as Kaling is. Meanwhile, Blake Lively and Ryan Reynolds, Sophie Turner and Joe Jonas, Gigi Hadid and Zayn Malik, Kristen Bell and Dax Shepard, to name a few, have been outspoken about not posting photographs of their children online.

Since giving birth in 2017, Mindy has only posted a few images of her baby, whom she affectionately calls Kit. In a 2019 interview with Glamour, she addressed her decision to parent quietly, saying, it’s critical to my life that there be something that only a few people are aware of. That is a restriction, but it is a very small limit. I have no problems with revealing everything else.
