Ryan Reynolds wants to spend time with her daughters, taking a break from upcoming projects

, a Canadian actor and film producer, stated that he will be taking a break from acting after wrapping up filming on his next picture Spirited with Will Ferrell. At the Los Angeles debut of his Netflix film Red Notice, which he co-featured in with Gal Gadot and Dwayne Johnson, the actor discussed why he needs to take a little break from acting and nonetheless, he needs to invest more energy with his family. “For me, it’s really about getting some quality time with my kids before they’re teens who despise me,” Reynolds told Entertainment Tonight from the film’s red carpet. Reynolds and his wife Blake Lively have three daughters together: James ‘6’, Inez ‘5’ and Betty ‘2’.

While accepting an award for the WSJ Innovator Awards 2021, the actor gave a nice thanks to his wife Blake. The actor praised his wife as a “genius” and a “renaissance woman” in his speech, praising her for pushing him to work harder and always remaining supportive.

Ryan’s absence from movies comes after his tremendously successful release Free Guy, which became one of the biggest grossing films during the pandemic. While announcing his vacation, the actor took to Instagram and remarked, ‘It’s the ideal time to take a break from filmmaking. I’m going to miss working with this ridiculously talented group of creators and artists’. Nowadays, ‘kindness and brilliance are equally important’. He also added ‘I’ve been fortunate enough to work with people who have both.’
