The first round of Quarter Finals in Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- The Next Singing Icon has come to an end and while all the singers gave a fantastic performance, not all of them could make it to the gold zone. There were performances that took all our breaths away and some that made the scoring even more difficult for the judges. However, six contestants have safely made it to the gold zone, moving forward to the next round. Here is a list of one fact about each of these contestants that you might have not known.

Pragna Nayini: The junior Sunitha of the show is not only a talented singer but also aced academics while being a Doctor of pharmacy. With every performance that resonates a nightingale’s voice, she also has the intelligence required to practice the noble profession of a doctor.
Ananya Bhaskar: Had it not been for her flabbergasting performances on Sa Re Ga Ma Pa- The Next Singing Icon, we would have surely known her for her youtube channel that she runs. The singer does not consider language as a barrier and covers songs across all languages.
Venkat Chaitanya: Venkat Chaitanya who gave us back to back melodious performances is a software engineer by profession. The singer fought his way from the silver zone to the gold zone in this round. His performance against Bharat’s performance compelled the judges to give them both a seat in the gold zone.
Lakshmi Gayatri: Lakshmi Gayatri is without a doubt one of the most diverse contestants on the show with respect to her musical choices but not a lot of people know that she is an HR by profession. And if that wasn’t amazing enough she also has a YouTube channel that she religiously creates content for.
Bharat Raj: Bharat Raj is one of the most talented singers on the show and often displays the professional maturity of a practising playback singer. This is because of the fact that he actually lent his voice as a background artist to songs in a couple of feature films.
Yasaswi Kondepudi: The number of medical professionals in the show is surprising in a pleasant way. Yasaswi Kondepudi is a doctor who has an MBBS degree from Andhra University. Apart from this, the singer is also all set to debut with his album like Koti had announced on the show.
