Vanita Kharat, the actor who played the character of the house-help, has recently grabbed the attention on the internet again. But, this time, not to give you a good laugh but to spread body positivity. Interestingly, the Kabir Singh actor shared the above picture on her social media handle. In the caption of her picture-post, Vanitha explained that she has posed for a calendar shoot to promote body positivity. In the picture, Vanitha has posed in the buff with a strategically placed kite covering her. In a brief caption to her post, Vanitha wrote, “In the caption she wrote, “I am proud of my talent, my passion, my confidence, I am proud of my body… because I am ME…!!! Let’s get together to join this Body Positivity Movement.” So far, the photo has garnered more than 30k double-taps on the photo-sharing platform.

Meanwhile, a handful of Instagram users took to the comments section and lauded the actor for her bold and beautiful photoshoot to send out a strong message to women across the country. “Really inspiring! I wish that every human achieve this level of confidence, self pride and self love !”, wrote a user, while another asserted, ” I respect your thought behind the photoshoot”. The comments box was also flooded with red-heart emoticons.

After the picture went viral, in a media interaction Vanitha was asked to share what was her parents’ response when they saw her picture. While being proud of her parents, Vanitha said that they took it in a positive way and ensured her that she was looking beautiful in the photo. Coming to her professional front, currently, the actor has participated in a Marathi comedy show, where she has performed a series of hilarious acts. On the other hand, the actor was not seen in any other Bollywood film after Kabir Singh released.
