Sidharth Malhotra Bags Another Action Flick Produced By Karan Johar’s Dharma Productions

Among the Gen-Y Bollywood stars, Sidharth Malhotra has emerged as one of the full-fledged action heroes. The actor has shown a keen interest in this genre and eventually it has worked well for him. Thus, many of his upcoming projects are mostly action dramas including Shershaah. And now, if recent reports are to be believed, Sidharth has bagged another big-budget actioner which will be produced by Dharma Productions. Well, the actor is eager to explore the action genre to its fullest.

After a long wait, Sidharth’s upcoming war saga Shershaah will be released on OTT, all thanks to producer Karan Johar. While this news has already got the fans excited, the reports of the new project have added more to it. Yet again teaming up with Dharma Productions, Sidharth is all set to step into the shoes of an action hero. Reportedly, the film will be a romance plot laden with great action sequences.

“Sidharth has signed a big action film with Karan again. It’s a romantic film with a lot of action,” a source close to the film revealed. The source also added that this new actioner has similar elements to the actor’s hit film Ek Villain. Moreover, the reports mention that Sidharth was the first choice of Karan for this new action drama. While the film is being backed by Dharma, the makers have planned to get a new director on board for this project.

Well, this new film will mark another add-on for Sidharth in the action genre. While the actor’s Shershaah will be releasing on OTT in the coming months, he is currently busy with Mission Majnu. Reportedly, he has wrapped 60 percent of the film’s shoot and after completing it he will get back to this new actioner. Also, Sidharth will begin prepping for another new film titled ‘Thank God’.

If everything goes as per the plan, the new action drama will have a 2022 release.
